FAQ's:

Q: Can you briefly explain your process?
A: Yes: Prior to the preheating, the area to be welded is ground out and specially prepared. Once the casting has reached the desired temperature, it is maintained there during the welding process. Using a gas fusion process, a specially trained welder begins melting and flowing cast iron rod into the area to be prepared. At the same time, the welder is melting the parent metal so the two metals flow together and integrally bond each other.

Q: Can you just weld the damage and we will do the rest?
A: No: After the welding process, we need to machine and install components so we are sure that all specifications are within proper tolerances and to assure the integrity of our repair.

Q: Are your products machined and ready to use?
A: All products are fully machined to factory specifications and ready for use.

Q: What is the warranty on a welded head or block?
A: We have an industry leading 12-month warranty on all the workmanship of our repairs.
